Halloween wine

Crimson red in colour; aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry, violet, mushroom, damp forest, leather and spices. Initially quite gamey (in a good way) and gradually evolving into something more earthy and camphoric. The flavours were equally complex and full; medium+ body, chalky tannins and mineral finish. No hurry to drink up. Very good QPR.
