The wine opens with naturally bitter phenolic aromas, followed by honeyed notes reminiscent of a dessert. On the palate, it is full-bodied and luxuriously satiny. Its powerful style and pronounced maturity are evident, while maintaining crisp, precise acidity. The unique finish features notes of butterscotch that complement its fragrant fruit. It received a rating of 98 from Robert Parker.
