Zenato Ripassa Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Superiore 2020 is a premium Italian wine crafted using a unique technique. After the dried grapes for the winery’s Amarone have completed fermentation, a selection of Valpolicella grapes “passes over” (ripassa) the Amarone pomace, resulting in a second brief fermentation. This process enhances the wine’s alcohol content, color, and rich flavor profile. The result is a refined and concentrated wine that is extremely smooth and velvety, featuring vibrant red fruit aromas. On the palate, it delivers fruity notes and elegant tannins with hints of chocolate and spice.
