Philippe Boucard has been the head winemaker at Chateau Chantemerle since 1997 and has played a significant role in establishing it as a premier winery in the Haut-Médoc region of Bordeaux. He has a deep understanding of the terroir of the region and works closely with the vineyard team to ensure that the grapes are harvested at the optimal time for maximum flavor and aroma. Philippe Boucard balances traditional and modern winemaking techniques at Chateau Chantemerle by combining the best of both worlds respecting the traditions of Bordeaux winemaking.
