ABOUT THIS WINE

Perinet Priorat Merit DOQ 2017 is a Spanish wine from the DOC Priorat in Catalonia, composed of 35% Syrah, 25% Garnatxa, 20% Carinyena, and 20% Merlot. It presents a ruby garnet color with touches of red geranium and mashed raspberries on the rim. The nose offers a beautiful explosion of macerated strawberries, tulips, red currant, wild herbs, thyme, and crushed metamorphic rocks. On the palate, it starts light, crisp, and fresh, evolving into a silky mid-palate with hints of dark cherries. The wine features crispy minerality, lingering acidity, and dense tannins complemented by balsamic notes and a touch of licorice.
