Nose: Highly aromatic and brooding. Aromas of dark morello cherry, plum, and black raspberry layered with wild game (sauvage), crushed flint, and smoked wood. As it opens, subtle undertones of toasted oak, espresso bean, and dark chocolate emerge.

Palate: Full-bodied and muscular compared to typical 2021s. A concentrated core of sour cherry and dark plum is cut through by the sharp, chalky minerality characteristic of the high-altitude Les Cazetiers climat.

Texture & Tannins: Ample and chewy with prominent, firm tannins. The 2021 acidity gives the dense mid-palate a welcome lift and tension, preventing it from feeling overly heavy.

Finish: Long, structured, and savory, closing on lingering notes of bitter cherry pit, earth, and wood spice.
