Hyde De Villaine Syrah Californio Hyde Vineyard 2018 is an American wine from Napa Valley, California, showcasing the distinct qualities of Syrah. This wine features savory exotic spices, rich plum, and blueberry aromas that frame the heart of this cool climate Syrah. Cooled by summer sea breezes from the Pacific Ocean, the 'Californio' Syrah fruit exemplifies the elegant strength of Hyde Vineyard grapes. It reveals layers of smoked red meat, fresh fig, and black pepper, all framed by subtle and refined tannins. The medium-bodied palate is granular and lifted, with a ringing violet perfume and a very long, layered finish. Rated 95+ by Robert Parker and 96 by James Suckling.
