A nice balanced Chardonnay which is typical California style provides you with plenty of fruits and oaky flavours.
A second wine from a prestigious winery. Deep yellow, fragrant nose, the wine is rich, full bodied with minerality, citrus, honey, very balanced.
Nice now but need sometime to develop.
Crimson red in colour; aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry, violet, mushroom, damp forest, leather and spices. Initially quite gamey (in a good way) and gradually evolving into something more earthy and camphoric. The flavours were equally complex and full; medium+ body, chalky tannins and mineral finish. No hurry to drink up. Very good QPR.
The palate combines dense and muscular dark fruit flavours with a vivid acidity, plenty of fine grained tannins, cocoa, dry spices and raw meat notes. Dense and long finish.

Classic, with a firm style and red fruity notes, some herbal and spicy notes, medium length, high but ripe tannin, rather light finish.
