A deep ruby-purple. Layers of tar, turned earth, dried sage, lavender, cast iron and grilled beef over a core of blueberry and blackberry jam on the nose. The palate is concentrated and powerful with floral fruits, silky tannins, seamless freshness and a very long, fragrant finish.

Fingers Crossed is a Rhône-based winery in Oak View, California. Owners and winemakers Nikolas and Julia Krankl focus on quality over quantity, what they affectionately call their “stained hand approach.” Nikolas worked for his parents at Sine Qua Non for five years and in 2017, he decided to pursue a dream and create his own brand with his wife, Julia, a Harvard-trained physician. Each year they create their own piece of art to adorn their bottles and wooden boxes. They have been called rising stars by respected critics like Jeb Dunnuck, Lisa Perotti Brown and Antonio Galloni.
