Merum Priorati Priorat Inici 2019 is a Spanish wine from the DOC Priorat in Catalonia, composed of 55% Red Grenache, 15% Carignan, 15% Syrah, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. It boasts a bright, clean cherry red color with a purple rim. The nose is rich with red fruit, evoking raspberries and redcurrants, along with mineral notes. On entry, it is fresh and fruity, lingering creamy on the palate. Balanced red fruit reemerges, blended with subtle echoes of vanilla from its oak aging. Its mature, velvety tannins lead to a long, elegant finish.
